TryThisTrend (say it: try this trend dot com) makes AI videos from your own clips and photos. Swap a funny face into any viral reel, add a prank scene to any video, make any photo move, or use one of 69 viral effects and trend templates. Every video comes with hooks and a caption to post.
How does Reel swap work?
Upload a reel you saved (TikTok Save video, Instagram Download or a screen recording) and pick one of 10 original funny characters or your own photo. We recreate the reel with the new star: same moves, same timing, the reel's own sound. A swap takes about 5 minutes and we email you when it is ready.
How does "Add a scene" work?
Upload a short clip (3 to 10 seconds is ideal) and pick a prank. We take the last frame of your clip, generate about 5 seconds of AI video from it with the prank happening, and stitch your clip and the AI scene into one vertical MP4. Your original sound plays first.
Can I use a photo instead of a video?
Yes. With a photo, the photo comes to life and the prank plays out in it.
How does "Make it move" work?
Upload a photo of a person, pet, drawing or toy and pick a preset move: the AI animates it from a description, so each video is its own take on the dance. For an exact copy of a dance, upload 3 to 6 seconds of someone doing it and we copy the motion onto your photo with a motion transfer model.
Can I add celebrities or famous movie characters?
No. Scenes use original characters, like "a superhero in a red and blue suit" or "a giant lizard monster", and we block real public figures and trademarked characters.
How long does a video take?
Usually 1 to 2 minutes; copying a move from a video takes 3 to 4, and a reel swap about 5. You can close the page: it keeps going, lands in My videos, and we email you when it is ready.
How much does it cost?
7 days free ($0 today), then $9/week. Cancel anytime: tap the chat button in the app and message us, or use Manage subscription on the last day of your free week. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
How many videos can I make?

Is there a watermark?
Every export has a small "trythistrend.com" tag in one corner and a short "Made with TryThisTrend" end card. Once your paid plan starts, new videos also come with a copy without them.
Can I swap someone else's reel?
Use reels you made or have the right to use, and credit the original creator when you post. A photo of a real person needs their permission. We refuse photos of children, famous people and explicit content.
How does the creator program work?
It is opening now. Post your pranks and moves with the "Made with TryThisTrend" tag and apply on the creator page. We review every application by hand and will reach out by email. Rewards are not live yet.
Can I post the videos on TikTok and Instagram?
Yes, they're yours to post. Only upload clips and photos you have the rights to, and only prank people who are fine with it.
Are my clips used to train AI?
No. Your upload is sent to the video model only to make your video. Deleting a video removes it from our servers, and during the free week videos are deleted after 14 days.
